JAMES GOSLING




 James Gosling was born on May 19, 1955. He is a renowned computer scientist and one of the most influential developers in the history of programming. Creator of Java: Gosling is primarily known for being the creator of the Java programming language in the 1990s. Java Virtual Machine (JVM) Architect: In addition to creating the Java language, Gosling was also responsible for designing the Java Virtual Machine (JVM). The JVM is a fundamental part of the Java platform and allows programs written in Java to run on different operating systems and hardware architectures. Career at Sun Microsystems: Gosling worked at Sun Microsystems from 1984 to 2010. Gosling has made important contributions in the field of distributed computing. He was one of the authors of "The Network File System" (NFS), a widely used protocol for file sharing in computer networks.
